Dr. John Costandi, DDS, MD

Training
Dr. John Costandi is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He graduated from Boston University School of Dental Medicine, where he was inducted into the OKU Honor Society, and completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at Columbia University/New York Presbyterian Hospital, earning his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons along the way.
Teaching and Practice
After serving as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College, Dr. Costandi relocated to Southern California, where he is an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at USC School of Dentistry. He has been published in peer-reviewed journals, abstracts, and book chapters, and is an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the International Team for Implantology, and the Academy of Osseointegration.
Outside the Office
He enjoys trying new restaurants and watching sports, and his happiest moments are spent with his wife and two children.
